We are now in Florida, after a bit of a struggle which involved sitting in Boston Logan airport for most of Thursday, being told various lies before they admitted that the plane wasn't going anywhere because there wasn't a crew available (disruption caused by the Frankenstorm and all flights having been cancelled for two days).
We finally made it as far as Washington that day, where we stayed overnight, with dinner and breakfast provided, along with the hotel billy, by United Airlines, who also seated us in First Class for the flight to Tampa.
It is still the hurricane season here, of course, so we hope there will be no more antics of that nature during the next two weeks.
